Screenplay: ART, WAR, AND WATERMELONS

This is a draft of the series pilot to my original series, “Art, War, and Watermelons”
LOGLINE: Rodrick, a young adult struggling at the bottom of an oppressive caste system, aspires to become renowned artist, but is accidentally swept into a rebellion hoping to bring an end to the oppressive government’s rule.
The themes this series will explore are: humanity, morality, friendship, and corruption.
Due to the nature of the screenplay I imagine this story animated in a comic-inspired style similar to Amazon Prime’s Invincible, or Avatar: The Last Airbender.
